Riff Lim Kian Hong
Certified Trichologist & Founder of Two Herbs
Riff's career in hair and scalp care began in 2002 when he enrolled in a hairdressing course. By 2004 he had graduated and joined his mother's hair care centre — a 17-year journey that gave him deep, hands-on expertise in scalp conditions that most stylists never encounter.
The turning point came in 2011. His wife suffered significant post-pregnancy hair loss. Drawing on his family's background in Chinese herbal remedies, Riff began experimenting — combining traditional Chinese herbs with Ayurvedic botanicals. The results were remarkable. Two Herbs was born.
In 2014, Riff formalised his expertise by obtaining his Trichologist Certification — making Two Herbs a herbal treatment in Singapore formulated and tested by a certified trichologist. He has since grown the brand to 9 Singapore outlets across 5 countries.

Our Journey
From One Family To Five Countries
Riff Lim takes up a hairdressing course, starting his career in hair care.
Graduates and starts helping his mum at her hair care centre — 17 years of hands-on scalp expertise.
His wife's post-pregnancy hair loss leads Riff to develop a unique Chinese + Ayurvedic blend. Successful results inspire the launch of Two Herbs.
Opens premium brand at Chinatown Point, Singapore.
Riff obtains his Trichologist Certification — making Two Herbs a herbal treatment in Singapore tested by a certified trichologist.
Expansion into Taiwan (2016), China (2017) and Malaysia (2020). Two Herbs becomes a regional brand.
Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Award & Promising Enterprise Award — Overall Winner and Most Franchisable. Franchise outlets open in Bedok and Chinatown.
Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) — Promising Brand. 6th outlet opens in Clementi.
